Indigenous Support

An inclusive team is a stronger team

Outside Ideas believes that the promotion and respect of Aboriginal culture is paramount to a healthy and inclusive workplace.

Employment opportunities, internal policies, and procedures extend to Aboriginal culture with awareness around the importance of inclusion.

As Outside Ideas grows, we maintain our focus on providing specialised training and career pathways for Indigenous and disadvantaged individuals through our partnerships with key organisations such as Power Community Limited and Community Bridging Services.

Gender Equality

Building a more equal industry

Outside Ideas maintains a strong and ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of industry talent, with apprentices forming a core part of our workforce strategy.

We actively invest in training pathways across formwork, concreting and landscape construction, supporting apprentices through structured mentoring, on-the-job skill development and exposure to a wide range of project types. This includes a growing cohort of female apprentices – reflecting our focus on creating opportunities for women in traditionally male-dominated trades and fostering a more diverse and capable workforce.

Meaningful Pathways

Ability in every form

We're proud to cultivate a safe and inclusive workplace in which all our employees can excel and succeed in their careers.

We are committed to creating an environment where people of all abilities can access meaningful employment, advance in their careers, and contribute fully to our team. This means designing inclusive hiring processes, providing workplace accommodations without hesitation, and partnering with disability employment organisations to connect with talented candidates who are too often overlooked.
