Outside Ideas is proud to have completed the Arden Station landscaping and public realm works contract as part of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project for the Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP). This contract is part of the 9-kilometre twin tunnel rail project that adds five new stations throughout the city. At the time it was awarded, Arden Station was Outside Ideas’ largest project in Victoria to date, and was won off the back of the successful completion of a smaller stage of the CYP at Peppercorn Lawn on the banks of the Yarra in 2019. Working on all four sides of the new railway station, the scope included a demolition package, new kerbing and gutters, paving, stormwater, electrical works, asphalt works, street furniture, structural concreting, and concrete walls. This project was a great opportunity to showcase our ability to deliver large and complex scopes that include a combination of landscaping, civil work, and structural concreting: capabilities that Outside Ideas has built our business around.
