Hacer Group awarded Outside Ideas the civil construction and landscaping packages for the Richmond Quarter development.
This project was won on the back of the successful delivery of the Burwood Brickworks project for Hacer Group in 2021. Outside Ideas delivered a combination of civil and landscaping works to Bridge Road, as well as the podium level of the development, which is the centrepiece of the 368 ‘build to rent’ apartments.
Outside Ideas began on site in late 2021 and delivered bluestone kerbing, footpaths, parking sensors, traffic light loops, asphalt works, architectural concreting, and artificial turf. The softscaping elements included 60 cubic metres of soil that was blown into place, plus planting, the installation of mature trees and palms, and irrigation.
Richmond Quarter was handed over in three stages, making coordination and construction challenging in the narrow streets of Richmond. Richmond Quarter was successfully delivered by the deadline of July 2022.
