Outside Ideas was engaged by Built in 2024 to deliver the civil and landscaping packages for the Lyndoch Recreation Park Redevelopment.
This project was won on the back of our experience in the construction of AFL-standard sports fields, including Mount Barker Regional Sports Hub and Park 25 Enhancement.
Covering an expansive 100,000 square metres, Lyndoch Recreation Park includes a significant amount of turf, plus concrete elements (pavements, ramps, terracing, and stairs). Outside Ideas also delivered asphalt pavements (both carparks and pedestrian), a family friendly playground, athletics facilities, netball and basketball courts, hard and soft landscaping, and sandstone block terracing.
The project commenced in August 2024 and was delivered within a tight seven-month program to meet the deadline of the Gather Round in April 2025. In order to accelerate program and achieve the deadline, Outside Ideas allocated extra resourcing to the project and incorporated weekend shifts. This project was another high-profile opportunity to demonstrate our in-house capabilities in civil and landscape construction.
