Working for Sarah Constructions, Outside Ideas delivered the structural concrete and all landscaping elements on the Yitpi Yartapuultiku site, which opened to the public on June 1, 2025.
Sarah Constructions and WAX Design lent on Outside Ideas’ expertise for problem solving throughout the design phase. Our experience delivering projects of a similar complexity enabled us to flag potential future issues to ensure the design team was on top of them before they arose. Our ability to assist with design issues and coordination with other trades allowed for a seamless work front for Sarah Constructions for the duration of the project.
Outside Ideas met the project target of 10% Indigenous engagement through our chosen suppliers, subcontractors, and labour. Council, the design team and the project team worked closely with the local Indigenous community throughout both the design and construction phases. Construction began on site in July 2024 and was completed in April 2025. Outside Ideas is proud to have been part of bringing this important cultural community centre to life.
