The Norwood, Payneham and St Peters Council approached Outside Ideas when looking to upgrade The Parade at Norwood. The road had recently been resurfaced and new kerbing installed and the landscaping project included deep excavation to remove the old bitumen and road base.

With The Parade a DPTI road, traffic management was a key component and planning of the project was of the utmost importance. With many pedestrians and retailers on the parade, noise was kept to a minimum by having the pavers cut off site. Outside Ideas undertook the earthworks and imported 400mm of topsoil, as well as taking care of an irrigation system, Urban Stone paving, over 1,000 plants, mulch and compacted granulitic sand.
