Outside Ideas began work on the Jervois Street Reserve project in March 2016, as part of the City of Marion's play space construction program.

Built on 7,000 square metres of land purchased from Renewal SA, the design of the reserve was delivered in consultation with the local community.

The scope included custom art sculptures hand crafted by local artists, open irrigated turfed areas, asphalt running tracks, a BMX pump track, custom play and exercise equipment, shelters, barbeques, proprietary toilets and garden beds.

With a mid-winter deadline, the challenge was to establish the landscape in difficult conditions.

Jervois Street Reserve Play Space demonstrates Outside Ideas' ability to deliver complicated projects with multiple elements as part of the scope, on time and on budget. The success of the project resulted in Jervois Street Reserve being awarded Adelaide's 2016 Baby and Toddler Destination of the Year, along with multiple accolades from the Kids in Adelaide and Play & Go websites.
