In 2015 BMD Construction engaged Outside Ideas to work on the $8.2 million Henley Square Redevelopment for the City of Charles Sturt.

The intent was to revitalise the precinct, creating a multi-functional space for residents to enjoy, introducing water play, toilets, custom seating and shade structures with a 3,000 square metre turf area.

Outside Ideas was the primary subcontractor and responsible for all concreting and landscaping works. Our team managed a tight construction program while building in winter, which made pouring 4,500 square metres of architecturally finished concrete a challenge.

Outside Ideas played an important role in managing staging plans, which gave our team a great insight into how to deal with and manage key stakeholders on a high profile project for a local council.

The project was delivered by summer 2015 and has since been very popular.
