Since 2015 Outside Ideas has had ongoing work on the Blakes Crossing subdivision for Lendlease Communities, in both civil and landscaping.
The initial work involved Outside Ideas building a play space for the town centre, with a 16,000 square metre irrigated sports field surrounded by curved in situ concrete walls up to two metres high to retain the soil on a sloping landscape. The playground features a large flying fox, trampolines, climbing walls, a nest swing, barbecues and shelters.
The second landscaping package was at Bluetongue Creek. This involved planting more than 60,000 plants along a natural creek through the estate, with 4,000 square metres of exposed aggregate concrete, shelters and building a 20 metre footbridge.
In additional to this landscaping, Outside Ideas is working for Lendlease Engineering in civil for Blakes Crossing subdivisions, carrying out earthworks, installation of concrete stormwater pipes and pits, kerbing and footpaths, and paving.
Outside Ideas currently maintains this site and civil works are ongoing.Back to project list
