In 2018, Outside Ideas was awarded stage one of the Berri Riverfront Precinct. The project involved demolition of the existing asphalt, kerbing and associated infrastructure. New stormwater and electrical infrastructure was installed, new segmental paving, asphalt and realignment of kerbs to the roadway, construction of a new plaza area, soft landscaping, irrigation and concrete works were part of this complex project. This was all undertaken while maintaining access to surrounding businesses to ensure business continuity. We were in constant communication with surrounding businesses and stakeholders throughout the construction phase.

Special consideration was made when planning for environmental measures that were placed adjacent the River Murray to ensure no construction waste contaminated the river. We also delivered soft landscaping works adjacent the river during the works.

An important part of the project was engaging and working with local contractors to deliver the project, we used local contractors for the demolition, civil works, and electrical infrastructure. We also coordinated planting works with the Veterans Association to allow them to plant around the memorial upgrade we delivered.
