In 2013 Outside Ideas was awarded landscape works in the Southern Plaza for Lendlease as part of its $420 million Adelaide Oval Redevelopment Project. Working in partnership with Lendlease, Adelaide City Council and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, Outside Ideas went on to deliver all four stages of landscaping over three years.

Works commenced in the Southern Plaza to have the area ready for the first test match in 2013, then progressed to the northern end of the ground, passing through Creswell Gardens, Pennington Gardens and into the northern car park.

The project encompassed significant earthworks and drainage, mature tree planting, tree grates and irrigation along the Southern and Eastern Plazas. Work on the northern car park included over 42,000 square metres of soil, turf and irrigation as well as concrete bench seats, rain gardens, paving and street furniture.

The final stage to date has been the works around Oval 2 with Bardavcol. In 2016, Outside Ideas was awarded the contract to build a cricket pitch and extend the outfield to allow for first class cricket matches to be played on the oval. The scope also included off formed concrete walls which were stripped before they cured to achieve a troweled finish.
